So How Much Is Your Pet Portrait Going To Cost….?

This depends on many factors, such as size, number of pets in the portrait and whether you would like the portrait framed or not.

It is always a good idea to consider all these options when choosing your size - please don’t hesitate to contact me with your questions and I will be delighted to advise you.

Sizes and Prices

Small - 10" X 8" (25cm x 20cm) - £100 (40% Deposit = £40)

Medium - 14" X 11" (35cm x 28cm) - £155 (40% Deposit = £60)

Large - 16" X 12" (40cm x 30cm) - £205 (40% Deposit = £80)

Double Large - 20" X 16" (50cm x 40cm) - £275 (40% Deposit = £110)

The prices given are for the portrait of a single pet, further pets on the same painting take longer to do, and so carry an extra charge of £75 each. (The small size is not suitable to have 2 pets on, as it is simply not possible to get the amount of detail required on a painting of this size)
If you are having 2 or more pets on one painting I would strongly recommend going for the Large size, as even on the Medium the amount of detail in each pets facial features will be reduced - and it is these features that help convey a pets character.
My 2 most popular sizes are Medium and Large - Double Large is only really used for group portraits of 2 or more pets.
All paintings are double mounted by hand by myself & this is included in the above prices.

The above sizes refer to the size of the board used for the painting, The actual pets head and shoulders would be slightly smaller to allow for spave before the edge of the mount (approx 1" (2.5cm) in from the edge of the board on the Large size and similar on the other sizes) - see the guide below for exact measurements for each size.
The mounted size will be larger, ie. small will be 40cm x 30cm mounted & large will be 50cm x 40cm mounted.

These sizes are only intended as a guide - the actual size and proportion of the painting are dictated by the shape of your pet - so a photo with a long thin face will be a diferent shape and proportion to one with a short round face.
