I often take detailed photos of my paintings to send to clients, so I have displayed a few of them on this page. Paintings are generally meant to be viewed from a distance of a few feet, but when painting animals it is necessary to include a lot of very fine details, so it is useful to be able to show just how much time, effort and concentration I put into each and every commission.

It is the fine details of the nose, the mouth, and particularly the eyes that really bring a portrait to life. I always leave these until last to finish, because if I am happy with the painting before these are fully completed then I know that as soon as I add these final details then the portrait will look even better.

I spend many, many hours on every painting, so I hope you enjoy seeing them up close.
